Foster attended the 2025 Golden Globes with her younger son, Christopher 'Kit' Bernard Foster, whom she called out during her acceptance speech for best performance by a female actor in a limited series, anthology series or a motion picture made for television for "True Detective: Night Country."
In her speech, Foster thanked Kit and his older brother Charles 'Charlie' Bernard Foster, describing them as, “Kit, my scientist son, and Charlie, my actor son.”
