Tanure Ojaide
Ojaide is currently the Frank Porter Graham Professor of Africana Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
As the 47 President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Professor Francis.
He won the Commonwealth Poetry Prize for the Africa Region (), the BBC Arts and Africa Poetry Award (), the All-Africa Okigbo Prize for Poetry ( and ), and the Association of Nigerian Authors' Poetry Prize (, and ). His poems have been translated into Chinese, Dutch, Spanish and French.
